DESCRIPTION

Eváan / [i’va:n] is a music artist, producer, and academically trained tenor saxophonist performing an electronic music DJ set with live saxophone. Shaped by years of live performance, his work places the saxophone at the centre, blending groove- and rhythm-based ambient, house, and electronica within a minimal and flexible live setup. His sound maintains a clear identity rooted in live performance, sound quality, and honest musical expression.

The project is suited for curated events, listening-oriented spaces, and select club or festival settings where electronic music and live instrumentation are presented in a refined and understated way.

2 × Pioneer CDJ-2000NXS2, CDJ-3000 or equivalent

1 × Pioneer DJM-900NXS2, DJM-A9 or equivalent

Alternative (compact setup, if agreed in advance):

All equipment must be fully functional and professionally installed.

Audio & Stage Requirements

• Professional PA system suitable for venue size

• 1 stage or booth monitor

• DJ table / booth with stable and level surface

• Power supply at DJ position

• Sufficient space in the booth/stage area for safe placement of a saxophone stand

The booth/stage area must provide enough space for secure placement of the saxophone and related equipment.

Access to the booth/stage must be strictly restricted during the performance. No access is permitted to guests or non-performing individuals. Entry is allowed only for authorised technical crew (e.g., audio engineer) if necessary.

The booth/stage must be clearly separated from the audience area to prevent contact with drinks or accidental interference with instruments or equipment.

Outdoor & Weather Conditions

For outdoor performances, appropriate weather protection is required.

• The saxophone and electronic equipment must not be exposed to:

• Rain or moisture

• Temperatures below 15°C / 59°F

• Excessive wind

• Direct sunlight for extended periods

Performance is not suitable in temperatures below 15°C / 59°F.

A covered, dry, and wind-protected stage area is required for outdoor events.

Right to Refuse Performance

If agreed technical, safety, or weather conditions are not met upon arrival or during the event, the artist reserves the right to delay or refuse the performance in order to protect instruments, equipment, and personal safety.

In such cases, the full performance fee remains payable.

Technical Coordination

All technical details must be discussed and confirmed in advance with the artist.

Final setup may vary depending on the venue.
